The Ipswich Junior Eisteddfod has a history going back more than 70 years, and is one of the largest eisteddfods in Queensland. It provides young people with the opportunity to perform in sections for dance, music, and speech, with prize money awarded for first, second and third places. Other awards include bursaries and aggregate prizes, and most promising / encouragement awards. Each competitor receives a report from the adjudicator and a certificate for awarded places.
