How can we help?

Anyone who is organising dance performance opportunities for children can open an account and list their event or business. Among some of the businesses listing with Stage Lark are dance studios, course providers, competition organisers, and eisteddfods, though this isn’t an exhaustive list.

Listing your business or event on Stage Lark is super easy. Before you can start listing, you’ll need to open an account online. This takes less than 10 minutes…all we require is your company name, company type, and some basic contact details. Once your account has been activated, you’re ready to start listing:

  1. Sign in to My account and on your dashboard there are two buttons: List an event and List my business.
  2. After you’ve clicked one of these buttons, you’ll be asked to choose your package – i.e., whether you want to utilise a free listing or take advantage of one of our featured listing packages, which will maximise visibility of your listing.
  3. After selecting your package, you’ll be guided through an online form, where you can provide information about your business or event. If you don’t have all the information you need, you can save a draft and come back to it later.
  4. After submitting your form, it will go live on our platform within 24 hours. We’ll send you an email as soon as it’s live, so you can start sharing it with your network.

 

If you only plan on listing an event for now, we do strongly advise that you also list your business. All events are automatically unpublished from our platform following their end date, but business listings remain indefinitely. By having a business listing on the platform, you’ll remain visible to potential customers, even after your event has ended.

To access all your event listings:

  1. Log in to My account.
  2. Select Manage my events. All your current events (including live and pending events) are listed under the ‘Live events’ tab. You can access past events (i.e., those that have now passed their scheduled end date) under the ‘Past events’ tab.  

 

To access your business listing:

  1. Log in to My account.
  2. Select Manage my business listing. If you have a business listing, you can access it here. If you don’t currently have a listing on Stage Lark, you can submit a listing by clicking the red ‘List my business’ button. 

To update an event listing:

  1. Log in to My account.
  2. Select Manage my events. You can edit any of your live listings by clicking on the ‘Edit’ label next to the listing. Changes go live immediately. 

 

To update a business listing:

  1. Log in to My account.
  2. Select Manage my business listing. Press the ‘Edit’ label next to your listing. Changes go live immediately.  

All event listings are automatically unpublished from the platform following their scheduled end date. However, if you want your listing to be removed before then (or if you want your business listing to be removed), please follow these instructions:

To unpublish an event listing:

  1. Log in to My account.
  2. Select Manage my events, then press the ‘Unpublish‘ button. 
  3. Select the listing ID of the event you want removed. You can find this under the current events tab in Manage my events. 
  4. Once you’ve submitted the form, we’ll remove your listing within 48 hours.

 

To unpublish a business listing:

  1. Log in to My account.
  2. Select Manage my business listing, then press the ‘Unpublish‘ button.
  3. Select the listing ID of the listing you want removed. You can find this in Manage my business listing.
  4. Once you’ve submitted the form, we’ll remove your listing within 48 hours.

Featured listings increase your business’ visibility even more, and mean you can benefit from extra features, like video and more imagery. Additional features you receive from a featured listing, include: 

  • Prime position on our Home Page: Event and business listings remain on our Home Page for three months (or until an event’s scheduled end date, whichever is sooner). Featured listings also appear at the top of search categories on the search pages. By listing your business or your event sooner, you can maximise the amount of prospective customers that will see your business. 
  • Link through to ticket purchase page or special offer: A featured listing includes a prominent ‘call-to-action’ button, which links through to your ticket purchase page (for event listings) or a special offer (for business listings) to give sales even more of a boost.  
  • Bring it to life with video: Showcase your offering by embedding a YouTube video.
  • Add more images: Add up to five images as opposed to just one image with a standard event listing. 
  • Newsletter feature: We’ll give your listing a prime spot in our monthly newsletter.

We accept payments through PayPal. PayPal offers various checkout options, and you don’t need a PayPal account to use their services.

PayPal offers security features like data encryption, fraud protection, and seller protection. Find out more about PayPal.

To update your account details:

  1. Log in to My account.
  2. Select My account details. Your account details are stored under the first tab, ‘My account details’.  
  3. Make the required changes in the online form, then press the red ‘Update’ button. The changes take effect immediately.

 

To change your password:

  1. Log in to My account.
  2. Select My account details. Click on the second tab, ‘Change my password’, and enter your new password. The changes take effect immediately.

To access invoices sent by Stage Lark:

  1. Log in to My account.
  2. Select My invoices. 

To close your account:

  1. Sign in to My account.
  2. Select My account details, then access the fourth tab, ‘Close my account’. 
  3. Fill in the form, then press the red ‘Confirm account closure’ button. We’ll confirm via email within 48 hours that your account has been closed.

To update your communication preferences from Stage Lark:

  1. Sign in to My account.
  2. Select My account details, then select the ‘Communication preferences’ tab.
  3. Make your required updates. The changes take effect immediately.
