The Australian Institute of Classical Dance is proud to be launching the AICD Marilyn Jones Awards and NSW Ballet Awards on Sunday 3rd May 2026. The AICD Marilyn Jones Awards for 15-18yrs will be cash prizes for 1st Place, 2nd Place (The Garth Welch Memorial Prize), 3rd Place and 4th Place Encouragement Award. The AICD NSW Ballet Awards for 11-14yrs, with two age categories, will also have cash prizes and gift vouchers.
AICD MARILYN JONES AWARDS 2026 for ages 15-18yrs. Entry: $110
- 1st Place: Total of $7250 – $7000 plus $250 Bloch gift voucher and Dancetrain Magazine subscription.
- 2nd Place: Total of $3250 – $3000 (Garth Welch Memorial Prize) plus $250 Bloch gift voucher and Dancetrain Magazine subscription.
- 3rd Place: Total of $1200 – $1000 plus $200 Bloch gift voucher and Dancetrain Magazine subscription.
- 4rd Place: Total of $1000 – $800 The Bloch Encouragement Award plus $200 Bloch gift voucher and Dancetrain subscription
NSW BALLET AWARDS AGES 11 & 12yrs (age as of 3rd May 2026) ENTRY: $70
- 1st Place – Total of $900 – $400 plus $500 Bloch gift voucher and Dancetrain Magazine subscription
- 2nd Place – Total of $500 – $200 plus $300 Bloch gift voucher and Dancetrain Magazine subscription
- 3rd Place – Total of $300 – $100 plus $200 Bloch gift voucher and Dancetrain Magazine subscription
