The Abermain eisteddfod conducts two eisteddfods, one which is open to the general public and another that is open to school students only. The Abermain eisteddfod caters for an array of categories and sub-sections such as speech and drama, vocal and instrumental, dance, choir and individual sections.
Categories include solos, troupes, speech & drama, and music. It also offers age-based divisions with events for tiny tots through to seniors.
